norman: About sight animal vs human- Most birds see in much greater detail than humans do, and they see in color as well.
The hooved animals (deer, elk, etc) also see in greater definition, but are colorblind-they see in shades of black, white & gray.
Turkey have what is described as 7X vision.
Eagles and most other raptors (of course we don't hunt them) see in 25X.
Deer see in roughly 4X.
Moose are an exception to the rule-I understand their eyesight is poor.
