Get the price down to about 15K and have a 500 range per charge and people might start looking into them more. What about a 25-30 mile range and about $5,000? 25-30 miles from the house charge and 25-30 miles from the at-work charge. I'm suggestting a near-term way to have the electric car supplement the real car in the garage, not replace it. $5,000 is a joke too, the battery alone could cost $5k.
