Without a doubt it was an H&H double in 500/450, followed by a Searcy double in .470 nitro. IMHO, big bore doubles, especially the older ones are the ultimate in firearms. Standing down a charging lion, elephant or buff with only two rounds is living, or dying depending on how cool you play it!

Another one for MG-42
My first and hopefully not last FA experience |
Fired a .450/.400 3 inch once. An experience I tell you! |
Hmm.
Prior to this year it was the NM M14 I shot at a CMP shoot. That thing was beautiful and shot well. Since I rented some FA though... MP5 and a Shorty 9mm M16 top the list. |
+1 Oh, gotta add Ma Deuce as well. And the 240 Golf and the 249 and the 203 and tossing the M67... if that counts. Well, that sums up alot of my wish list. |

Dragon with combat warhead.

120mm smoothbore from my M1A2 on the move, without a doubt.

Thanks for that, now go and watch Full Metal Jacket a bit more |

The H&K UMP40 was pretty sweet. If I wanted a FA weapon, that would be it.

I've never had the chance to shoot full auto, so my choices will seem tame to some. To me history makes a firearm more enjoyable to shoot. That said, the Rifleman's rifle, my 1903A3 thrills me every time I take it out.
Another in the coolness factor for me is a Type 14 Japanese Nambu. |
Full-auto .458 socom! My first full-auto weapon, and it was awesome!
(Thanks cbell and Holeshot4) |
Saw it two weeks ago... Haven't decided what to watch tonight... |
Bump firing my AR! I haven't really gotten the chance to shoot many different types of firearms to be honest.
It just occured to me, the coolest gun I have evered fired is my Rem 597, you can shoot it all day long and it never get hot. Every centerfire I have ever shot ended up getting hotter than hell real quick.
No, no, no - the title says COOLEST not SMALLEST. I couldn't resist. |
MP5 at a private range in Baghdad.
Edited to say: actually, the coolest gun I ever fired was a captured AK... |
I shot a few bursts from a GAU-17 (I think it was the 17) on my last ship.
It is a 7.62 electric gatling gun on a .50 cal tripod mount. Bullet hose. |
M242 25mm auto. on a HUMVEE THUMPA! THUMPA!THUMPA!!!
Gives me wood just thinking about it. |
And that would be the same as our M249 SAW? |
M110 Howitzer, Direct Fire excercise in Grafenwoehr FRG back in the 80's, now that still gives me wood!headbang.gif

fired an m249 SAW
glock 18 full auto AUG American 180 Liked the 249 the best |
TOW "s during DS/DS. A T72 will pop its turret, really up there on the CDI (chicks dig it) factor.

Guy I used to work for had an original thompson. This was a pre WWII comercial model with a beautiful walnut removable butstock, foward pistol grip, rich high gloss blue,Cutts compensator,50 and 100 rd drums. Really a beautiful gun.Only other full auto I have ever shot was on the same day,(M16)but the Thompson was just so cool !

The 25mm M242 Bushmaster Auto-Cannon did it for me!
