WHen I was 13 I have the Reebok Shaq Attaq 3's... that was probably the last year I cared about having "cool" shoes. After that it was airwalks and vans. Before then it was like your social status was tied directly to what shoes you wore... looking back on that as an adult the whole thing seems insane, but that's middle school for ya.

I showed up to 9th grade in 1992 wearing some Airwalks. Got asked what kind of faggot shoes I was wearing.

Two years later every other fucker in the school was rocking a pair of Airwalk Ones.
