Brother!  Class of '82, BSEE.  Going for my Masters now.


I was there when the 99 year snowfall record was set.  365 inches in the winter of 78-79.  But, I got a phys ed credit in pistol marksmanship.


Lived through that one and then it was like 2 winters later had the single largest snow fall.  Second time in the history of Tech they closed for weather.

North Ave Trade School in Hot'lanta

BME '91

During the first Gulf War the Atlanta Urnal & Constipation showed up to interview all the student protesters.  There was one and he was from Georgia State.  When asked where all the protesters were one grad student replied, "Almost all of our grant money comes from the Pentagon.  What are we supposed to protest against?"  Tech is a cool place to be FROM.

Worked for the Sheriff's Office there for a couple of years during Grad School but had to move on afterwards.

We are big Auburn Football fans and go back frequenty for games.

Started with 18 full time students. 6 years later (had to go p/t sophomore year) we had 3 graduate. Most transferred to other schools before matriculating. (My $2.65 word of the day )

Socratic method liberal arts school

Lower classes : Read original works... discuss. Repeat.
Upper classes: Read original works... discuss... justify your answer. Repeat.

One of the few schools where you can still read original texts written by "Dead white males".
