Grandpa scrimped, saved and sacrificed for years in order to bring over his entire family. He had to prove that my mom and dad would have a job and not be a burden on taxpayers.
My entire family became US citizens in 1970 and they fucking did it legally.

My uncle was born in Mexico, lived in Venezuela and retired in Palm Beach after Chavez took over.
He got his US citizenship by fighting in Korea.
I guarantee you'll never find him burning a US flag.

I think wehategringos is about creating a straw man argument for Linda Muller to knock down.  Kinda of like HCI arguing that violent Neo-Nazis misuse guns, so we're best off with no guns for anybody.  In this case, the argument is look at the ill-tempered kookie brown people, let's ship them all home, seal the border and not let any more in.

Now, some of those dudes featured on wehategringos.com are waaay out there, and I don't approve of them one bit.  But does that really represent the majority opinion?

I have a conspiracy theory on illegal immigration-- the restaurant, landscaping, construction, and agriculture industries have long gotten rich from an illegal workforce; their illegal status makes it tough to unionize, anybody causing trouble (complaining about unsafe work conditions, lower than minimum wage pay, failure to pay FICA and medicre taxes) can be gotten rid of without consequence.  So the workers pour over the border, wilfully kept porus by Democrats and Republicans alike.  They have no little or no hope of gaining legal status, literally becoming Mexican-Americans; Mexicans living in America, but kept outside the mainstream.  

That's the hyphenated Americanism Teddy Roosevelt spoke of; to quote him "We cannot afford to continue to use hundreds of thousands of immigrants merely as industrial assets while they remain social outcasts and menaces..."  We'd have been better off making them citizens and assimilating them into the big American culture; by now the third generation wouldn't know Spanish and would be eating twinkies and big macs with the rest of us.  Or we could have actually sealed the border in the late 20th century.  But the die has been cast, and now we've got a big freaking mess that is coming to a head.

In Germany, they let tons of immigrant workers in during the late 70's.
When their economy tanked in the early / mid 80's, the "Auslander Raus" ("Foreigner Out") movement gained a lot of ground. Lots of violence against immigrants, who were perceived as "stealing jobs that Germans could have".

Of course, the fact the Germans didn't want them a few years earlier was ignored by the neo 's who were behind much of the unrest.

As long as our economy stays relatively strong (despite the Lib propaganda that we're all on the breadline) we're OK.

If we get into real problems, folks are gonna get violent.

As far as I’m concerned anyone who comes here legally and makes efforts to assimilate into American culture is just as much an American as I am. And you have to go back about four generations to find a single ancestor of mine that wasn’t born the United States. (Or at least in territories that would one day become states.)

We are worried about the people who are either here illegally or the people who refuse to assimilate. No country can afford to have large numbers of people living in its borders who refuse to even acknowledge the legitimacy of their government. Civil war is the inevitable result.

I dont think anybody here has a problem with Mexicans. I dont myself. My forefathers came from Germany. Didnt bother my Dad in WW2 fighting Nazis. My problem is with a ILLEGAL invasion of my country. Where it comes from matters not with myself.

This is dangerous, Too many enclaves of illegals in too many areas.  Atlanta/Georgia is jam-packed in dense little "units".  It is like having a Brigade of terrorists or enemy troops in your midst in defensible areas.  We are dealing with a problem that 80 million gun owners are going to have to handle.  

Even if just 10% of the illegals get violent, it is going to be nationwide.  There is no concentration of enemy troops large enough to deploy American military forces. (Posse Comitatus be damned)

The police will be overwhelmed in the first couple days.  More then likely in those first couple days the police will have to retreat otherwise they are going to get slaughtered.  Looting and destruction will be concentrated around the Illy enclaves until they equip themselves for more far ranging expeditions.  

After the first couple days of simple rioting and looting we are going to start seeing large scale murders of white people, especially the young, old and the defenseless.  

Real militia will have to form to protect their own homes and neighborhoods.  It will be weeks before the tide gets turned back and a lot of people are going to end up dead.
