This is my first post in all of the VA threads. It is the post above that really got me thinking about part of my family history, I am directly descended from Edward Maria Wingfield. My paternal grandmother is a Wingfield, formerly of Virginia and currently resides in SC, and who is 98 years old this month.

I am wholly embarrassed that I did not plan to join my fellow Patriots and Americans prior to the elevation of this situation, which those who dare to call themselves public servants, did thrust upon us. I did not see this as the possible watershed moment it is playing out to become.

May this day go down in history as the day Americans, and specifically today, Virginians, resumed their rightful ownership of power, all without having to resort to violence.

Rex teaches long range tactical shooting to some very scary guys. It's his bag. I'd be surprised if the VA tyrants aren't shitting their pants at a guy who can make a 2800 yard cold bore shot on a beer can showing up in Richmond during their circus. He may even have been asked not to attend by some of those aforementioned scary guys so as not to create an incident.

That said, he's also been fighting medical issues. Combine that with his self-confessed lack of sleep and he might be seeing ghosts or something. Who knows? I hope he's alright, and I sympathize with his frustration at not being able to make it. My excuse is far more mundane. I didn't have the money and couldn't catch a ride. It's burning my ass that I'm not there. Something tells me that this is an event we'll all wish we were at come the after times.
