Have you thought about switching over to a VEPR shotgun and modifying it to have the safety lever and maybe the bolt knob on the right side of the gun?

dude that's pretty tough
out of curiosity what do you think your favorite and most realistic combat fire arm would be? looks like you're rockin it with that saiga |
|
also how much do you train? have you taken classes before?
sorry i haven't had the time to read the whole thread or watch vids but you might have something here, i've done some one handed training drills on handguns before but never actually have had to adapt |

Love it. How long did it take you to feel comfortable running a gun like the Saiga one handed? How many do you have through it so far? Ive felt comfortable with the Saiga-12 since I started my YouTube channel.....so about a year. |

The reason I shoot the Saiga-12 more is that its cheaper to go shoot at the range. This is a great question and it may become another video...thanks! |

Hell yea man!! I saw the video that you posted here awhile back. Seeking you running the AR and I think you shot the AK in it also and the Saiga I am very impressed. How much time have you spent with the guns? And how much faster have you gotten with them!

While in SPECOPS I've received training in the 160th "Green Platoon" and other companies like Viking Tactics would come every now and then. While in Afghanistan I got to do a day of training with Rangers and "D"-boys but so you know I was an AVIATION BlackHawk guy NOT a ground guy....now those guys are BADASS! |

Awesome, OP.
Please upload that video to wimp, I think it would be right up their alley: http://upload.wimp.com/ The site specializes in obscure but powerful or thought-provoking videos, and I think yours is both. Never recommended this for any arfcom video before. |

I try to do certain things to get a video out of the footage when I go. |

OP, first off, you fucking rock, brother!
Second, have you considered turning that Saiga into an SBS? It seems to me that it would be a lot easier to manipulate with a shorter barrel, bringing the balance point further back. (Although, it would make it more difficult to stick the muzzle onto the ground during reloads.) |
|
You know what I like the most about this?
The last video you posted, people were jumping your shit for shooting dirt, and telling you the S-12 was trash, and you are wasting your time, and Blah Blah. They then said, go get some training and you said fine I will..... And you frickin did, and posted a video and now everyone loves you. *Like sands through an hour glass, these are the days of our lives....* |
|
That's awesome. You defiantly have a good system down. Do you have strong ass arm or is that gun that light that shot that accurate?
|
|
Nice!
You should strap on a prosthetic with about 5 mags velcroed to it... Or a crossbow |

And you right about the reloads lol. |

Viking Tactics and a couple other places would come up and give classes every so often. This is the first time Ive done this as a civilian. |

Well my arms were big before I lost the right one and now my left is stronger. I use my arm and cheek weld to hold and secure the weapon and it works pretty well. The Saiga-12 is pretty heavy but it just runs so well and its MUCH easier to reload a magazine fed shotgun then a tube pump gun....but that didnt stop the instructors from making me run a pump the first 3 hours of the class lol. I wish I wouldve recored that the first day. |

Why do you guys look around after you shoot? hear something? Visually scanning for new threats. When you go into fight or flight mode you often get tunnel vision and your hearing may also be affected. With tunnel vision and poor hearing it is easy to miss a potential threat that would normally be in your peripherals, or that you may have normally heard approaching. |

I'd like to thank everyone for the support! Yeah that's messed up ........but it did make me laugh lol. Funny thing is I didn't even do this to impress anyone or to be inspirational but it seem some think it is. To those that do, thank you. To those that don't, that's cool too. |

Full of fail! I do not see OP applying a the parking brake and running for the ditch while blaming the other guys.
Srsly though great job OP. |

Op, you truly personify the motto of 160th SOAR (ABN).
For those of you unfamiliar, the motto is "NightStalker's Don't Quit!" |

I would always tell young guys in the firehouse, if you get hurt... just hope that guys are still breaking your balls, because then you know you're going to be okay. When folks start being nice and polite to you... then you know you're screwed. In any case, I don't care if you meant your video to be inspirational or not... it damn well was. And I'm sure a lot of other folks that see it will find it to be too. Thanks for posting it. |

Rockin'!
Shotgun manipulations suck one handed. Can't imagine being forced to do it that way all the time. Thanks for the motivation to train even harder, a**hole. |
