redundantly redundant.

Yeah it sucked.  Very contrived.  I would recommend Enemies Foreign and Domestic instead.

The second in his trilogy, Domestic Enemies, was a much better book.  IMHO/FWIW....

ETA>  Just noticed this..  The third book in the trilogy will be available in early '09

The link has exceprts from the new book.

I loved EFAD and am reading Domestic Enemies right now. It is scary how some of the stuff he wrote about is coming true within the last month or so. How all the drama started with the failing of national banks and all. Great read so far.

Read it. Passed it on ARFcom book exchange. Someone here has it.

Good book. I read it in less than a week or 10 days I think.

Doesn't get a lot of mainstream marketing.

Publisher has it for 29 bucks.

EFAD and its sequel DE are only available in trade paperback form.  Basically, it has the high quality paper of a hardcover but a soft binding.

Once and never again.  One of the most difficult books to work through that I've ever encountered. I've read text books that were more enjoyable than UC.

If you liked UC then you might like "Neither Predator Nor Prey" written by local author Mark Spungin.

I have read it three times at least. OK, he isn't Tom Clancy, but it is entertaining and informative. Ross has big balls to have written it. He was targeted afterwards by the BATF until his lawyer got involved.

Okay,

Help a guy out.  I've been trying to find a copy for six months now.

Borders, Walden say it's out of print.  Amazon has zilch for results.

Could someone please post a source so I can get a copy.

Thanks

edit: Reading is fundamental.  I saw the post in the first page. copy ordered

Bull.  Henry and Cindy would not be the characters they are if they hadn't had the encounters described in the book.

He posted as much on his website, they tried to get his ex-wife to inform on anything even slightly illegal he might've been into.

A pretty decent read. An alright book with a good historical background.

If you want fine literature read Victor Hugo.

Calling those two "characters" is being generous.
They were poorly contrived and two dimensional with no development.
Everything came easy to them, they were smart, rich, and perfect.

Kind of.  And the sex stuff was

Although I'd still recommend it to a gun enthusiast.

+1 x 2

Gave away my autographed copy.

I'm not a huge fan of contrived fiction.
It was a little better the "The Turner Diaries" though.

If you found the Turner Dairies to be any better then used toilet paper stuck in the bowl, you have issues.
