I say it wouldn't be made today, but I can't say why it sailed under the BLM radar then, except there was no BLM
They just hit a sweet spot in time .... |

Finished watching it today after stopping it yesterday afternoon right after Speedman is captured.
Les Grossman has got to be one of the most epic characters ever put on screen. He makes this movie every bit as much as RDJ. |

first time I saw that I didn't see the whole thing, I just started watching in the middle, I thought he was a legit black guy. No CLUE it was Robert Downey.

I think it got a pass because it was too early in zeros first term. He didn't get the race war going until later. He was just getting warmed up as the great divider. Just my guess.
