YLYL threads are one of the few remaining things at the site really worth coming back for. I'm overdue to renew and wasn't going to due to increased clamp down, loss of sense of humor and overall over-moderation. If YLTL are back, I'll renew I guess. I wish GD was a little less restricted. It's ok to have an unmoderated area of a site that's basically wild. It should be easy to draw a line, no pink bits, no racism, no personal real world threats, but otherwise let it roll. I know it's some work to keep the hosers in line but it's worth it for the friendship, community and entertainment. Glad to see this might be coming back, now we'll see if it's fun or if it's so controlled that is never funny again |

I’m glad y’all decided to bring it back. I don’t contribute much, but YLYL was my favorite thread on here. I checked it several times a day. I like some of the edgier humor, but I understand why it can’t be posted. I hope this new approach works and the thread continues. |

| Can we please have some sorta punishment for posting repeats?? If you goof up and post something that was posted say 50+ pages ago, oh well, shit happens, please dont do it again...But if you post something that was literally posted on the same damn page, or the page before you need to lose a finger at least.... Drives me nuts... We dont like dupe threads, and I hate dupe memes... Now if you will excuse me, I have a cloud to go yell at, and some kids on my lawn that need to be off of it... |

I just wanted to stop in and say thank you for reinstating/streamlining the mess that these threads can become, I know its a hassle for the mods and staff to take care of when people cant respect or figure out the boundaries. But they are one of my favorite thing in GD. ETA, though I do have a question, can we say the word a billy club flash light makes now? |

Been trying to hang with the new thread but its awful. The dad jokes are lame and theres no spirit in it anymore. Ive heard a lot of people over the years complain about how arfcoms changed and I never really saw what they were talking about. Now Im beginning to. If they really wanted to keep both sides happy they could have put this in team. But I think they keep it in general population to keep team exclusive with low trafffic. Oh well. I wondered 10-15yrs ago when or if I'd ever question my continued use of this site. This certainly isnt the line in the sand, but when they start censoring/scrubbing breaking news and political threads that'll be it for me. |

Tell you what, go back thru the various YLYL topics and give an example of one of my depraved character driven posts that violated the COC. My only warning ever ( that I was told about ) was making fun of somebody who made fun of the mods... that's now apparently an account warning worthy offense. Post that one and any other reposted memes I've dropped in YLYL you feel show my character. Personally, since you opened the door, I have no respect whatsoever for a mod who calls people out then hides behind his mod status when they respond.
