I've wanted one for a long time. My LGS had one. I ran in when I found out about and was excited to buy it. Then I saw what he wanted for it. I bought a box of ammo instead and left. I haven't bought anything from him in several months.

My 1980s Hi Power. The Hi Power fits my hand better than any other pistol, though the 1911 and P08 Luger are a close second.

Fantastic pistols.. I've owned 4 or 5 over the years. Currently I have an FM and a MK 2 Belgian.

Keep in mind that the FEG's are not true clones and IIRC not all parts interchange with Brownings. Check out the late Steven Camp's website, Hipowersandhandguns.

I have a FN highpower that has the factory installed SFS hammer on it.

It's nifty in a retarded way

used to have a 40S&W hi power, it would make the mother of all hi powers if you got a 9mm barrel for it

hi powers are one of the all-time great autoloaders

For the life of me I cant understand the appeal of the SFS. <img src=http://www.ar15.com/images/smilies/smiley_confused.gif border=0 align=middle>

I had a .40 BHP that I planned on doing that with... I hated the damn thing. They beefed it up to handle .40 and consequently ruined the perfect BHP ergonomics. It was like a BHP that needed to go to fat camp. They feel retarded in hand.
