Oh, someone please photshop/caption the pic to say:  "Hi, I'm Flapjack, Welcome Mats Beware!"

Or, caption either pic how you like!

Nice looking dog.

But don't let him steal other people's stuff.  Keep him in sight at all times, and if you can't then you need to put him on a leash.  It will be better for your neighbors and safer for the dog.

+1 for keeping him in your yard.

He'll stop most of that when his adult teeth come in.  Nice looking pup. He's a keeper.

Dogs are a close second on my list of Gods greatest creations.  Women are first of course!

Hey, nice dog you got there! Dogs are awsome, I've had so many over the years. Very partial to big dogs but the boss(wifey) says we can only have medium sized dogs. Oh well , when my other dogs are gone , I don't think she will complain too much when I bring home a full blood lab puppy. Heh, heh, heh. Take care. I might keep you in mind when I need a new door mat.

Cool dog.

The welcome mat thing is funny as hell.

I concur that he's gonna settle down after his teeth are all in.
Doggy chew toys are too much like pretzles for a chewer; try to get him onto a stick thats a couple inches thick.
That usually works real well.
Small branches become coarse saw dust.

----------------

I personally like it when the neighbors friendly dog wanders up to visit and get pat on the head.
They wont come back around if they're run off.
Most of the time they just wanna pop in to say "HI," and duck right out again.

If someone objects to the tresspass with a non-wounding projectile; that's your tough luck, you let him run about.
I wouldn't do that to a dog that wasn't behaving agressively, but IT IS a reasonable response with no lasting damage; welt in the ass to send 'em on his way.
I'll sing a different tune if someone hurts/maims/kills on purpose.

You might consider an 'invisible fence' setup eventually.
Now would be too soon for that though.

Best.
