I saw the social media stuff that night, since I was in a mediation all day, and I figured the SHTF for him, and that I'd be talking to him. He had a lot of support. I was holding them off. They still needed another 15 or so Republicans to turn on him to kick him out of office. But they couldn't be expected to support him after the FBI tipped off the tv news in time to get footage of him, etc. No doubt some still would have stuck behind him until the charges were resolved. But that would have been asking a lot. They're just misdemeanors, he'll be back, I think. |

Quoted: Because that's what the union does to political enemies of the state in communistic states like Clown world when WV has out commie the commies. View Quote WV has a long history of union thuggery. We have a big problem with teacher's unions here, and a lot of regular folks haven't understood the disconnect between their values and "supporting teachers." Though I think their days of power are numbered now that they've drawn a line in the sand. |

Obviously, these seven pages of comments are not in support of what was done.
Democrats are wrong and un-American. People that support Democrats are wrong and contrary to our American values system. This is the result. Yay! Power to the people! Keep voting for the Party. https://wvrecord.com/stories/572218656-this-superintendent-of-schools-needs-some-schooling Do we not have private lives anymore? Are we not free to disagree? Has our constitutionally-protected First Amendment right to free speech been suspended? Ask Tina Renner and Pamela McDonald, two Jefferson County school bus drivers who attended the recent rally in Washington, D.C., to demonstrate support for President Donald Trump and to affirm their allegiance to our remarkable republic. Jefferson County Schools Superintendent Bondy Shay Gibson suspended the two drivers for their display of patriotism and is now being sued by them in U.S. District Court. Someone needs to give Gibson a civics lesson. Renner and McDonald may be the ones to do it. View Quote |

Quoted: I'll bet the county doesn't have that much money. View Quote Jefferson County is where Harper's Ferry is located. It's probably the richest county in West Virginia and it is a bedroom community for Washington DC. The commuter train goes from DC to Jefferson County. There are also two universities in the area, which is another reason it's so liberal. For those who say "get involved locally", in my county in NOVA the school system has 200,000 students and an annual budget over $3 billion. An individual here has as much power as they would versus the New York City school system. |
