This thread highlights and interesting arf phenomenon.
Another one I've noticed, is for everything that gets recommended, 1/3 of the people talking about it will have at some first hand experience. The other 2/3 do not. Example? Read peoples opinions on ARs, then search the tech forums for their month old thread asking about what to buy for a first AR. |

I read this thread earlier today. Tonight I came across this one: Link The poor guy wanted to know which of two 110v welders to get for screwing around in his garage. Flux core ~$400. So far they're up to $3400 (MSRP $4400- 7k) for an industrial grade GTAW machine. By the time they're done with him he'll only get by with platinum welding rods powered by the sun's core. Oh, yeah. The guy that suggested this discussing his new power requirements, no sure if kidding. "Or, just build a new shop building with beefed up wiring." EFA: I see that thread was already revealed. |
