I would buy Alehandro's jersey but most of the money goes to the NFL. Maybe I'll make one myself.

And the real pisser for me is that if these fuckers decide not to do this stupid stuff anymore, it will be because their profits are down, not out of any patriotic duty.

You know the thugs are going to make Villanueva pay for his loyalty to our country and its combat veterans... I hope he quits football and runs for congress....I would love to see a man like him displace Paul Ryan in WI but there are thousands of districts that would benefit by having someone of his character represent them in the house. Word on the Pittsburgh sports radio is that Alejandro Villanuev got ”separated” from the rest of the team.
supposedly came from Ben. I’d rather hear from the man rather than these clowns. Wonder if they will try to pressure him into going with the company line. Also so said that tomlin was pissed at trump which again shows his true colors. |

I watched Tomlins presser after the game, the one I saw didn't really come out against Villanueva. He mentioned that whatever the decision he wanted the whole team to act as a group, he did say he was disappointed that didn't happen. Suggesting he wasn't happy with Villanueva breaking rank so to speak. Not so much that he was against standing for the Anthem.
He openly admitted that they as a group are privileged to play a game for a living and they aren't politicians they are ball players. Meh...still not great, still a terrible decision. Still hope they pay a price. I hope the pit home crowd eats them alive and then attendance drops. That would be an earth quake for Pittsburgh. |

I personally hand wrote a letter to Mr. Villanueva thanking him for being one man alone taking a literal stand for his Country on Shameful Sunday. I have decided to keep my tablet out if I watch any games, and I will contact each sponsor to let them know that as a AMERICAN, I'm never buying their products again because of their sponsorship of the NFL... Almost every company has a toll free number so if I can spend time on their dime telling them I won't support anybody who supports the National Felons League, then so be it... One man may not make much, but if more and more and more do the same... View Quote |

If the Cowboys stand, not lock arms, place their hands over their hearts and not do the black panther fist, I will officially become a Cowboys My great uncle was a front office man for the Dolphins from back in the AFL days, through the merger to the NFL, and worked with them through all of the Shula years. We didn't have a local team here in SC, so most pulled for Dallas or Washington. I was born in 1967 and started pulling for the Dolphins as soon as I could really watch the games. My great uncle traveled with the team for his job, and I got all kinds of things from him, which is what started my love of the team. I have pins from the early superbowls, and I have a pennant from the undefeated season, plus had a lot of game programs and things. I can tell you if the old owners still owned them, and Shula was coach, this crap would not be happening with the team. They also wouldn't have sucked the last 20 years. Shula and staff never had a losing season. The Dolphins didn't have their first losing season as an NFL team until after Shula left, if I remember right, maybe his last year or something. I really hope that this stupidity breaks the NFL down to the white meat. I can see advertisers already pulling out on the local level, and other things. I think that just like everything else where BS , liberal crap takes hold, it eats itself and ends up hurting those pushing it. In a year or two, we won't see the same salaries paid to players as we're seeing now. Their cutting their own throats, and I hope they bleed out. |
