I really think that one key facet of politics today compared to the past is that a politician can get up and say something completely WRONG and when they are called out on it, they then claim the facts that confirm the false nature of their statement to be "lies or manufactured information."
I really wish there was evidence from the past that shows this has ALWAYS been a behavior in politics, but in my 70 years on this planet, I don't remember it being like this until about the past 20 or so years. |

No medical expert here, but if I'm reading this correctly the argument over the precise time of the presence of a fetal heartbeat is one thing. The part that sticks out to me is the part where she allegedly suggests that some of this procedure is manufactured by men so men can control women. That reveals to me that she has a rather sick take on humanity and men in general.
A potential representative for the state or nation who has what appears to be a highly biased view on a particular gender...when gender neutrality is supposed to be a priority for these folks...should be alarming to all. But oh, wait...I forgot that thinking only applies to one side. Nevermind. |
