Trying to don and clear the field protective mask and get a good seal might be a tad worrisome, though. Good thing the Taliwackers tend to not use gas. Those boys tend to be in and out faster than a 15 year old on his first date, though.

Just like a high and tight makes you a more effective leader and squared away...

It does not take discipline to do what you want but instead to do what is inconvenient; the reason I say it is a shiny thing is the majority of combat FID is done by conventional forces who shave and they have no problem. I have talked to troops from both Iraq and AFG and asked them about the beard thing and they all say "You are Americans, we understand most of you don't grow beards." To take the we need beards to fit in to its natural extension any one who advises Muslims should become Muslims because otherwise they cannot relate to non-Muslims. |
The military has trended away from facial hair and normal haircuts, holding up the cleanly shaved, high and stupid wearing SM as the epitome of discipline and military-ocity I'll modify a favorite GDism and say "Go starch those utilities son!" I'd argue all day about this but I prefer not to clog up a picture thread of slovenly, undisciplined heathens.

Hey everyone, I was wondering if any of you could please help me find the original source for these photos?
They were posted on an individual's Instagram who never credits the original author of the photo. I've already tried TinyEYE and reverse lookup on Google and got nothing. I have a feeling they might be from a Facebook page but no idea which one. The photos were tagged "3rd SF group" and "USASOC" if that's of any help. I searched for Facebook pages related to that group and found a few but none of them had these shots. I believe them to be very recent. Just hoping someone here have might follow the same FB page and knows where they came from. Really want to add the high-res versions to the Mk 18 thread's gallery. Thank you! |
