You might want to pull that image that belongs to Getty, unless you hold a license for it. I have a customer who works for them and I have dealt with them myself, and they vigorously protect their intellectual property. |

On Fort Campbell there is a Vietnam Era AH-6 Cayuese on permanent static display at the entrance of 'CAV Country', the intersection of once Range Road and Angels Road, now known as the intersection of Market Garden and Angels Road. Flying the route structure coming out of Campbell Army Airfield onto the Reservation it is the transition from Green Route basically following Market Garden to Red Route following Angels. The radio call to Eagle radio is: "Eagle Radio, Black Hawk 24458 is Checkpoint LOACH at this time." Inside the aircraft there would be a quick: "CLEAR RIGHT" from me as the aircraft snapped hard right and my view changed from looking across the ranges to looking directly down at the Intersection of Market Garden and Angels. Wow I just got goosebumps typing this. It has been too long. |
