What better to walk home to after a hard day of work than a note on the computer reading "Next time, delete the history"

Some backstory: I have a live-in GF, very nice girl, introduced her to shootign and got her hooked (even lurks here on arfcom, but not in GD so I'm unconcerned), we've been seeing each other for 3+ years. We both work, and sometimes our schedules don't allow 'extracirricular' activities every day. Such is life. Most days I leave for work early in the morning before her, so she's asleep when I leave, and has several hours to herself before her shift. She's part-time, so I'm almost always home before her in the afternoon.

So yesterday is a decent enough day for the weekend, we went out for a night on the town, saw a show and ate at a nice pub for dinner. We're having a good time, I'm feelin' frisky, but she is dead tired. Out like a light. "Hmm well ok babe, why don't you lay down?" She passes out on the bed. So now what do I do? "Lets check the interweb to kill some time" I find a hilarious site whose content is, how shall we saw, NSFW. Think  'do the carpets match the curtains?: the game' As the night goes on my mind starts to wander, so I start perusing the seedy underbelly of the internet. It get's late and I go to sleep.

This morning, things are normal as can be. Get up, GF is still asleep, go to work. I come home, GF is apparently working a bit later than usual. OK, no problem. I and go to use the computer & relax a bit, check GD for some shits& giggles.
" WTF is this?"
I discover the aforementioned note. Beneath it, she has opened up all the sites I peeped last night in the web browser. In an attempt to shame me? I'm not quite sure.

The kicker here for me is, I know she looks at internet porn too. We're both young, and have normal urges, so I don't even worry about it. If i get home from work, and find some naughty websites in the internet history, I just chuckle to myself (plus it usually means she's feeling into it, so bonus for me ). It's never looking at any weird shit (her or me) so it's not like I'm checking out donkey rape bukakke porn or something utterly vile, we're still in love and respect each other, so what's the harm?

She'll be home soon, and probably won't make dinner tonight
So, I wonder, how should I handle this situation when she gets back? Ignore it? call her on a double-standard? I try not to be confrontational about shit like this. But she felt the need to call me out on this instance instead of letting it slide, like I would have were the situations reversed.

What say ye?

Maybe she's fine with it but does not want to see what you are looking at. If not that " call her on a double-standard".

Tell her if she loses  few lb's,  you won't look at the porn anymore.   That should do the trick.

Find some donkey rape bukakke porn and just leave the pages up before she gets home, the fun will ensue.

I would actually be a little pissed that she does it "secretly" and then calls you out on it when finding yours.

I would leave her a note that says "Sorry I'm just trying to keep up with your porn surfing"

Leave raunchy porn playing on the computer for when she gets home from work  When questioned, just go "oops, guess I forgot to close that..."  It's better if you do it every single day you don't get laid.

I'm the passive aggressive sort sometimes...

No, there are thousands of divorces happening in America because people get married without knowing all of the pertinent information about their future spouse.  Porn isn't the problem, people who never should have married in the first place are.

Say to her,  "Honey, look,  when I look at that stuff, it gets me all horned up and YOU get the pleasure of working it off me.  So what's wrong with that? YOU'RE the beneficiary!"

I would argue that it's NOT always "harmless", though.  There are enough people out there who aren't all that tightly wrapped to begin with.  Some of these people, not being well grounded

in reality and having a questionable understanding of human nature, stimulus, and response,  CAN be, WILL be, and sometimes ARE harmed by pornography.

Most people are fine with it but there are unquestionably a few who just shouldn't be exposed to it because they're not right.

Rookie mistake my friend. Girls never ever ever want you to look at porn without them there.  Even if they do it without you, and say it's ok.  It's not. What you need to do is delete your browsing history, then before you log off go look at zales.com, coach.com, modern bride, and shit like that, so when she looks she is like he's so sweet.
Works everytime.

Since she likes to look at it, too maybe you can try suggesting you guys look at it together.

The porn isn't the problem.  As in this situation the OP says he was denied that is something physical that has both physical and mental aspects that need to be dealt with.  Porn didn't cause it, porn didn't make it work, if anything porn brought a calm solution to mix.  I guess he could have beat woman and forced her to have sex... or would porn have been the cause of that too?

If his partner would have made sure she had taken care of his needs, instead of just focusing on herself, this situation never would have happend.  A selfish partner is a bigger cause of divorce than pictures ever could be.

Every man likes porn, she needs to realize this.

Reminds me of a scene on Friends (flame away, I like that show) where Rachel is telling the other guys that her new bf doesn't like porn.

Joey and Chandler say ,"Oh, oh, does he say that he'd rather have things left to the imagination, and that he finds it funny rather than sexy?"

Rachel: "Well, yeah!"

Joey/Chandler: "Yeah, he likes porn."

––––

Invite her to watch porn with you.  If she can't get over it, EJECT
