So I'm a little unclear on the overall opinion of the forum on this topic.  It seems like we have a lot of people waffling a little bit.  I think the Iraqis should definitely have a vote.

I don't see France, Germany, and the UK voting for their own black President, but somehow they think we should have one.

Sure, but only if we can vote to annex Canada, even if every Canadian voted no we'd still have a majority on that one.

Annex Canada!

They can vote.  First they have to legally emigrate here, then become a citizen.  Once they have done that they will have the same rights to vote as any other citizen.  Until then, they can FOAD if they think they are going to get a vote.

Well, as much as I want to flat-out say "fuck no," I'd be willing to accept it if and only if they, after voting amongst themselves with a clear and definite (at least 66%) majority, give up their own government and sovereignty and become a US territory, to pay taxes to our nation, to become subject to our laws, and to rewrite their laws with regard to our Constitution.

Um, No!

That doesn't mean that we should not be prepared for this in the future. I can see the Demoncrats arguing with a straight face that we should allow other countries to vote in our elections.

Seriously.

Should the rest of the world have a vote in the US Presidential election?

Absolutely.  Each and every one that pays US taxes and lives in the US*.

*Excepting DC of course.

By their logic, do they not understand that thanks to many of the retards "elected" around the globe, we have to eventually clean up their mess one way or another. So do their elections not affect us?

It was funny when people did it a few years ago (bunch of conservatives, ask a question that only a lefty would, etc), but it gets old after a while.

The obvious answer is "no".

However, I think it is worth pointing out that our relative strength is due to the better decisions we have made. If they want more control, they need to make better decisions.
