Miami gets old. Take a trip down and check it out. Something kind of grimy about the place. It's like people sweat too much.

It's not grime. I'm pretty sure it's mold and mildew. Seriously. Sorry Miami people, I'm sure most of you are great people. But I'm NEVER going back.

Miami isn't as glamorous as CSI shows it to be...

I imagine there would have to be some nice areas within 50-100 miles though.

That sounds like a virgin moving to Pahrump, NV for easy access to legal hookers.

Sounds silly to me to move to a city and state you've never visited to take advantage of something you may not want, your life though.

As I said, we're not going to move before we visit and cruise. Does that mean I can't ask for input beforehand?

If I could gain weight, that would be considered a bonus.

You could give me a free house in Florida and I would still live in Arizona.

If you are young, single, and can afford to live on the ocean, give it a try.

If not, I'd pass.  I lived down there for a few years.  Ft.Lauderdale to be precise.

If i were single I'd consider working as a server on the ship. Free room/board/utilities FTW.

Good mix of opinions on the subject here.

I've heard both ways. Been talking to some people who go 6-12 times a year, and have been doing so for years, and never get sick of it.

Free cruises isn't enough to get me to live in Miami.  Not my cup of tea.  If I were Haitian, or from some south American country, I'd probably enjoy it more.

Everyone keeps sending you south. Coral Springs, Davie, Weston, Tamarac, Sunrise (west) and Parkland all in Broward County and you will be fine. If you want to be in Dade Co. I can post other areas.
