painrx, your first post was hilarious. However, let's remember that MagKnightX is just a sixteen year old kid. He was curious about Switzerland, and he got his answers. Heck, I even learned a little more about Swiss immigration policy. Cut him some slack.

BTW Switzerland is not a socialist country. It is one of the LEAST socialist countries in Europe (I would guess that only Ireland is more capitalistic and has lower tax rates). The annual freedom ratings in the Wall Street Journal rate it about the same as the USA.

Dude, no. Remember, this country is enormous, and almost anywhere here you'll have more rights then almost anywhere else in the world. We have our problems here, but I believe we're on the way up, and they'll never get better if all the good people run away to some imaginary utopia.

BTW, if you're broke and in need of a job, why are you spending money on AR15s and accessories?

Based on the other thread linked here, if I were you, I'd either join the military ASAP or get whatever kind of job I could find and try to move out and go to college.

Hell, this is Northern Virginia. There's a McDonald's every thirty yards. I think Chicken McNuggets VASTLY outnumber people here at any given moment.

It was an early combined christmas/birthday/I'm-helping-to-paint-the-house gift from my father. So was the mags and ammo.

And as to the job, although I've applied to about 30 places so far, none of them, including the two McDonalds' within reasonable transportation distance, have replied in one way or the other.

And they aren't going to. You have to keep on them about it. That's part of how they screen applicants. My last low-end job, my manager would never call applicants or speak to them on the phone. He only hired people who kept coming in. If you want the job, you have to keep calling and keep visiting.
