If we have somebody East of that half way line through Illinois, who could get the dog to Indy or a little beyond, we would have it. Nobody should have to drive a stupid route. Cuz it's there and BACK. Gas is covered by us if anybody will take that. (not may people ask, but it's there. *I* would need that right now....it's a rough time for a lot of people. Just sayin.) But the time is valuable, and the route you drive is double cuz you've gotta get back home, yaknow? |

Bump. This morning was errands day for Loki and I. Loki loves errand day. Most places we go they give him treats. So much so Loki knows where the bank is. If I pass the bank and do not stop he knows and will Whine LOL. He knows! Please mind these are small treats. No Rawhide!!!! 1st stop today was the car wash where he received 2 treats and lots of attention. Stop 2 Walgreens pharmacy. Where he received 2 treat at the drive through. Stop 3 was the bank drive through. Normally there is a older gentleman there. Today there was a new female employee. I had to ask her for a treat. She obliged, giving Loki 1 treat. Normally he gets 3 tiny biscuits. Do not tell me dags are not smart or cannot count. He knew he had been short changed We came home unloaded groceries then play tug of war and fetch for 45 minutes or so. Tonight everyone gets baked pork steak (no bones). RECONSIX and family you will fall head over heels in love with Loki. Thank you for taking him Dagwood Now he is in recovery mode His batteries are worn down

OK. Kitties mentioned this thread is THE thread for info and coordination. Looking like you guys have him squared away past St Louis and into Mid Illinois? I'm near STL and able to cover a leg next weekend if it's needed but looking like he may already be covered out to several hours past me. Will monitor this thread for updates. |

Anywhere between Effingham and Terre Haute is fine. Effingham is just over 2 hours, so no big deal. Looks like the whole journey is just over 12 hours of driving time? I'm sure Loki will need a couple breaks along the way too. Someone will have to start early. We should try to set up a step-by step list. Please feel free to quote and edit the list if you are on a leg or have an actual drop point. This is just what I was able to discern in 5 minutes of reviewing the thread, so it in all likelihood isn't accurate.

Ok Efpeter I will bring him to Wentzville/ Eagle Eye gun shop and Shooting range. I can be there as early as 10:30 am. Sooner if need be. You see I am retired and have nothing to do or any where to go. And I have all week to do it. Thank you one and all |

It's about making sure you get the right nutrients for the dog. Has Mrs. Reconsix seen that? I have it. I'll get the name and author if you haven't gotten it already. Here it is. By Dr. Karen Becker. "Dog and Cat cookbook based on ancestral diets" I got the kindle version. It's too time consuming for me to do that, but I wanted to learn how to just supplement since I have to feed dry food. (We can't do The Farmer's Dog cuz of budget.) |

My original plan was to meet Dover in Wentzville and then head thru St. Louis and meet up with Cordwood outside Champagne. I could also potentially head west towards Dover and help cut down some of his drive time then meet up in Stl with the next leg. Whatever works I'm flexible. |

Kitties-with-Sigs I am located just outside of Wentzville MO which is only about 40 minutes to Saint Louis MO. I can either go west towards DoverGunner to help b cut his drive down some then meet CentralScrutinizer in STL, or I can meet DoverGunner in Wentzville MO as originally stated and then head over to meet up with whoever in IL. I will go into HTForums and ask for where we need to fill. Nobody should be going 14 hours if we can avoid that. It's hard not knowing that A0 so y'all have to fill in the knowledge gaps for me. |
