A friend turned me on to Scrubs during my divorce. Necessary levity, indeed. As usual, I never saw it during its original run. I loved that show.

It was good but the later seasons fell off hard. About as hard as any show I can think of. Major decline in quality, and the spin off series was garbage.
Some of the episodes, like where JD learns to deal with dying patients with a terminally I'll woman who wants to die, hit fucking hard. Those are really great episodes. |

I hold it as one of the best shows ever made.
It's one of a very short list of shows that I'll watch and rewatch and enjoy every time. Every episode was brilliant, from the cast, scripting, shots, music...it was well done all around. It's a damn shame they only made 8 seasons but I understand that all good things must come to an end. |

Have had several doctors tell me that show was the closest to the actual medical experience of any of the medical dramas.
Working patient flow in a hospital for 4 years,I would agree based on what I saw, but it's interesting how many doctors feel that way |

One of the best TV shows ever made.
It's truly refreshing to go back and watch TV that isn't overtly pushing a political message. There are a couple sly jokes in the series about Republicans and white people but they're in good humor. |

I 've been looking for the entire series at the local used DVD store, hard one to find. Found the first three seasons so far, the rest, nope.

Used to love that show back in the day but it got old real fast. Got sooooooo sick of JD being a pussy, JD and Dr. Cox, JD and Elliot, JD and the janitor. Come to think of it, that show might have been phenomenal if it hadn't been for the JD character.
