Took long enough for someone to correct OP with the correct answer.

Although you did forget to put the "Pre 64" in there.

A G3 with black furniture, and A2 stick, wide forearm, and light bipod is one of the best looking rifles out there.

You people sure know how to clutter up what was originally a very simple and effective rifle. I've never seen such abominations before.
Take a look at a true classic rifle.
A Mannlicher Schoenaur carbine in 6.5x54mm. A rather famous hunter used to pot elephants with one. And he used open sights. Didn't need all that expensive junk that guys try to use to substitute for skill. He even shot birds on the wing with it. Can you do that with your mucked up AR's?

Breechloaders are a passing fad.

This plains rifle styled after those made by Slotter & Co. in the 1850s - 60s has become my favorite.

Barrel by Jim Goodoien, L&R lock, claro walnut stock with a poured pewter nosecap, and German silver furniture.

Back in the day when LaRue was the new flavor of the day, they offered to send you one of their mounts to replace your Arms mount. All you had to do was take a picture of your Arms mount, break it and send it in. I had a bunch of ARMS mounts so I took some pictures and attempted to break them. All I was able to do was break the throw levers and that took a lot of effort. I thought it was just me, but then other people started posting on here about how difficult it was just to break the levers. There are so many good options these day that it would be hard to pay what they're asking for their mounts, but I wouldn't worry about it if everything on my rifle was attached with ARMS mounts.

I’m kind of partial to finely figured walnut. MK V’s seem to be more consistent in that department (or used to be, mine are all 30-40 years old)

Not sure exactly what the best looking rifle ever is, but I am sure that it has two barrels and contains no plastic of any kind.  It also probably has British proof marks.

Those Mk4’s are practically antiques now.

I sold one to a younger guy that said he was doing a retro police 700 build.  Made me feel old.

Just curious, what's under the hood(caliber) to require such a long suppressor

I like suppressors...all my rifles and MKE AP5 and AP5-P now have a dedicated one assigned to it
