And Jerry Reed. A must see for any gun nut.

I am surprised it isn't as much of an arfcom staple as Heat and Red Dawn.

It is FULL of great lines.

"You shot my gun, goddammit. You're not supposed to shoot a guy's gun. You know how much these things cost?"

If you watch it, hang with it. It starts a little slow.

Time of the Wolf  a disturbing but well-crafted French film from 2003 that explores a family's experience coping with violence and societal collapse after an unknown and unexplained catastrophe

THX 1138. Not so much SHTF as it is a portrayal of a disturbing dystopian future.

A valuable lesson to be leaned from that film: Ten minutes into the apocalypse, and Ray Milland's decent law-abiding suburbanite character is robbing people at gun point.

It's literally the first thing he does after hearing that the bombs have dropped.

I've often said, some of the most dangerous people during SHTF will be parents with children.
Watch how fast a parent's morals go out the window when their kid is involved.
They might be willing to starve rather than steal to feed themselves.
However, they're going to be capable of anything when it comes to their kids.
Whatever you do, never eat a ham sandwich with your back to the parent of a hungry child.
