A main street with a lot of student housing. And yes there is a mall right there. University mall.

A very large tornado touched down in Tuscaloosa, Ala. after 6 p.m. EDT with "complete devastation" being reported on 15th Street and McFarland Boulevard, according to Tuscaloosanews.com. Businesses and apartment buildings have reportedly been completely destroyed.

What's the news on huntsville I've got a buddy up there I lost comunication with at around 5:00, I was listening to the 5-0 scanner app for Huntsville. Last reported tornado that I know of was crossing HWY27 headed to Madison

Scanner say that the  huntsville "channel" is off line or down
