I wonder if we have some type of directed energy weapon, like the kind they developed for use in urban pacification..............hit that plane with one that has had it's output ramped up. Be a shame if their electronics were burned out

Find spots on deck for 30-40 guys. A practice tee set up. 40 golf ball salute, 40 sailors getting golf lessons
Be a damn shame to take a golf ball or 2 into a turbofan intake. Txl |

I understand that this type of thing is not new, but how did our guys know for sure that the Su-24s were not going to attack the ship? I know the obvious answer is that we are not at war with Russia, but how can we allow that type of behavior and still say we are defending our ships?
Do we just let any old aircraft buzz our ships within 30' and say "oh what the hell they aren't going to attack?" I thought the whole principle of fleet defense was not letting any threats get even close to the ship and the phalanx was a last ditch line of defense. How can we let potentially hostile aircraft fly within 30' of our Navy? |

I think I would be launching my drones anytime they where in the area and use them like balloons.... I am sad to report that one of our drones has collided with one of your fighter jets and both where lost |
