JUST MAKE MINI-14's THAT TAKE AR MAGS, FUCK!
(And also bring back that badass folding stock as seen in the A-Team) |

So, I wonder if the AICS mag setup will be adaptable to the 6.5 CM Predator I just bought? Thinking about selling my 300BO ar upper and buying the Ranch now that it takes AR mags.

Ruger is putting some cool stuff out and is listening to their customers. I see a LC9 or EC9 in my future. Since they are listening I’m going to call again for a rifle in .44 mag. Either an American or a return of the 10/44.

I have a feeling they will make the PC in 45 and possibly 10mm, as well as a longslide SR1911 10mm. Ruger is definitely putting out interesting things these days. |

Ive been wanting a 300 bo ranch... glad I waited now.
Ruger is taking all my gun money. 9mm carbine, 300 bo ranch and I guess I’ll get the .223 version as well. |

Hopefully they don't have the same magazine wobble problem that the Mossberg MVP has. AR mags were made for the deep magwell of an AR15. The shallow magwell of the MVP made it easy for the mag to wobble back and forth, often causing the bolt to glide over the top round without stripping it due to the angle.

Between the 9mm carbine, 7 shot .357 and these rifles Ruger is going to get a lot of my 2018 firearms budget
|
|
If it's as accurate as my Ruger American Predator in .308, I think I'll want one.
1MOA gun for $400 is hard to beat. |
|
Dammit! I just bought a 7 round GP100 and swore off anymore firearm purchases.
That 5.56 RAR that takes AR mags is in my future. |
|
Patiently waiting on the sub 500 dollar 357 magnum in the RAR and not the one they have now thats almost 800

If it comes in left hand - I'll be buying one. 100%. I like that thing, a lot!

There are now 5 fucking ruger rifles I want to buy.
Yesterday there were 2. 3 in one day is a bit much. |

No point in resisting that new 300 now. If they make one that takes AR10 mags I might have to get a 6.5mm. Glad that 7.62X39 doesn't take AK mags.

Why such a short bbl? That's retarded with a varmint caliber.
I see no utility in being able to use an AR mag in a bolt action. Other than not having to spend big money on proprietary mags of questionable durability. So I guess that's something. I've never been in the field hunting and thought to myself 'gee, this rifle would be so much cooler if it held 30 rounds in a banana clip.' I like Ruger and most everything they do, but I give this two thumbs down. |

https://www.ruger.com/products/redhawk/images/5059.jpg 8 shot 357mag 4". This looks interesting. They debuted the idea with that stupid 2.75" snub and I wished they had put a real barrel on the thing since if you are going to carry that big bastard around, you might as well have the barrel to go with it. I can totally see your point if your only intent is to hunt with it. With that said technically you could bring up the same point with anyone that hunts with an ar15. I hunt with a 30 round mag when I use and ar15 just because. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
