Yeah, it would...if it were the only reason he were supporting Romney. I admit the fact Romney's Mormon probably makes him feel more comfortable with him. But this endorsement was based more on who Robinson feels is more electable, and who would be better than Hillary or Obama in the White House. If Romney gets the nomination, I'd bet even the GOA will hold their nose and endorse him (of course, if they don't, it won't make any difference anyway). |

What's funny is the people over on the XCR forum posting positive things about Romney. They are on the XCR forum supporting a man who wants to ban what, I am assuming, they are interested in.??????? Read the quotes from Romney Asshats own mouth. Are we gun owners so stupid that we would not look into the beliefs and views of those we support? What the hell is wrong with people? Drawing the conclusion that a Salt Lake businessman is a Mormon by virtue of the fact that he lives in Salt Lake City, is a huge ASSumption. Also, assuming that most Salt Lake Mormons will be voting for Mitt Romney is another huge ASSumption, since many of the Mormons I go to church with have bumper stickers for Hillary or Obama. Two of them are Democrat political consultants who help run Democrat campaigns. YMMV |

I have no doubt! The election is months away and people are already buying and building EBRs and stock piling magazines! It has already started! When I go back to MO next month I will be visiting Denny to buy lowers for future builds. I would not be buying them until I intend to build if the election was not coming up. I am willing to gamble there will be another grandfather due to the cost of a full ban and confiscation. I do agree there WILL NOT be a sunset on the next one!!! |

In all honesty, I really love my XCR. It's a great gun, but hearing this just sucks, what a way to ring in the new year. At this point, I really can't feel right owning an XCR and purchasing from them again (I was eagerly awaiting the 7.62mm kit). Mormons are like that. My highschool football coach was mormon. Everybody who was mormon started regardless of their skill or work ethic. What I found really funny was when he would want to cuss. He'd scream at the top of his head "SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!" When clearly he meant "FUCK!" I always thought, "Does he think he's tricking his god? Does his god not see the *intent* of his screaming, through the oh-so-clever letter switch?" Strange behavior to say the least. As is supporting a candidate that will put you out of business and villify your customers. Shoulder shrugs here, and I'll never buy robinson products because of this endorsement. edit: I take back the phrase "mormons are like that." I know all groups of people are composed of various types of people. I should not have lumped eveyone into one group. |
