The only movie of the entire series which is worth a half a shit was Apocalypse, and only that after consuming enough beer to make it entertaining.

The previous movie (#3) was one of the worst I've ever seen. I literally was tempted to ask for my money back. The only other recent movie I can think of which sucked such huge quantities of donkey balls was AVP (either one).

I saw it today and really liked it, much better than 1 or 3 but not as good as 2. Sure it could have been better but lots of gun porn and the shower scene made up for it.
It also reminded me that I need more ammo.

The RE movies really does the video game a disservice no doubt about it. They totally fucked the movies up, in fact I highly doubt they could have done a worse job. They should have made one movie, based it around RE2, and stuck close to the story line, would have been one of the greatest movies of all time.

Hell...I often wonder the same thing.

The fighting in the streets was the best 5 minutes of the entire RE film franchise, IMHO.

Give me more of the gritty urban combat. More well-armed Umbrella security forces/survivors fighting off hordes of common undead in well-choreographed fight scenes as the protagonists are forced to costantly E&E throughout the city.

Skip to the 4:00 minute mark...

Skip to 8:20 minute mark...

And start at the beginning...

The replacement for the X rating was the only addition after PG13

I have to agree. She's fine just the way she...well, was.

This one didn't do it for me. Every fight scene with Milla looked like someone posing a barbie-doll in slow motion in a fight scene...she didn't look like a bad-ass anymore...she just looked...frail. Ali Larter looked better than she did in her short fight.

I liked the movie. Very over the top in areas, especially the opening, but still fun to watch. I give it 4 out of 5 giant axes.

Downside: "R" rating but no nudity for Milla or Ali. Usually Milla is good about showing skin.

For the longest time Ive thought they were just pandering to the Japanese and American Cosplayers with these films, since it seems easier to emulate the characters.

This is 4 movies in and no mention of S.T.A.R.S. What-so-ever.

Best part of this movie was Mr Albert "Don't Open that door" Wesker.

The Mid-credit bit It was hard to tell who the fuck it was... previoulsy Jill had black hair in bob cut... It's also been 6 years since we've seen Jill Valentine on the screen.
