Where do you buy broccoli sprouts?  Zero places around me sell em.

Burger looks good!

Fresh Market. Maybe a Whole Foods or Wild Oats would have them.

Would have been better without the avocado and the grass shit.

Seeing how there has been so much fail in other burger threads, I have to deduct some for being a copycat thread starter.  But, it is one of the better looking burgers in the past few days.

OK Some of it was a little hippy dippy to me.  People take the whole burger thing a little too far any more.

It needs a real bun....maybe pretzel or brioche.

Broccoli sprouts? Really?

Sriracha mayo, and avocado and bacon and grilled onions are all muy bueno.

May some fresh jalapenos would have been good too.

MUCH better over all than the other numbnuts on here though.

Sorry I can't rate your burger without trying it but you may have a fingerprint on your camera lense.

looks tasty...wish it had a bun though and you would have my business

Same here. Good bun would make the difference.

The egg thing bothers me.  I love eggs, but every burger I've had with them has tasted like nothing but an egg.  Totally masks the meat.

The portobello seems like it would be to juicy and squishy.  Not indicative of a bun.

There was also enough sprouts on that thing for 3 burgers IMO.  Otherwise everything else looked delicious.

I'd never substitute portabella caps for buns...I prefer a dryer, less meaty exoskeleton for my burgers, but I suppose you get a point for creativity.  I'd have rather seen you chop and saute the mushroom with the onions.

-2 no bun
+1 creativity

9/10 - Would Eat

The mayo sauce and shroom buns are not my thing but, setting aside personal tastes, that looks like a 10/10.  I can only give you 9/10 though because you didn't show us inside the burger to verify proper doneness.

Bun wasn't that squishy. I roasted them 10 min on each side at 400, honestly could have gone even longer. Was getting killer flavor out of them.

Fair enough. They were medium rare. Seared in the cast iron, finished in the still warm oven.
