My dad wasn't really a piece of shit, but he was an insurance broker most of his life, and when he died 6 years ago, we found out he had allowed all of his life insurance policies to lapse. So in addition to having to pay for the funeral, my mom's income was cut by 2/3. I had to refinance her house, and have struggled to keep it for my boys ever since. It's the house I grew up in. Been here for 47 years.

I wish my younger sister had not died in 1975 from Hodgkin disease. She was only 20. It is odd but I miss her more and more the older I get. Not a day goes by that I do not think of her.

My father is a wifebeater, my father is over 60,000 dollars in debt, my father screwed me out of 10,000 dollars, my father screams at, abuses and takes advantage of his 86y/o mother, who he now resides with, my father lied to the police to try to get me arrested.

My half brother and half sister have almost no relations with him. He sits on his ass all day, does nothing but collect SS, and all that money is gone within a week or so. Where? Nobody knows, but it sure ain't around to help the family.

He is being taken to court almost every week now by company's attempting to get back their debts back, but according to him "it's a conspiracy" and they're all wrong, when asked why, he has no answer. Things like this go on and on...

Was I possibly heavy handed with my OP? Yes, possibly, but I'm at the very end of my rope when it comes to him.

That Obamacare hadn't made my insurance premiums go up 30%. We hadn't had an increase in 4 years until Obunghole care. I got a letter from my company on Friday stating that our premiums would increase 30% for 2011. The worst part is that my insurance already sucks so bad it's almost not worth it as it is. I knew it was coming but I had hoped I was wrong. I wasn't.
