It isn't an action movie, so maybe not as popular with GD, but for sheer depth of character and technical brilliance (I believe it won seven Academy Awards), I cannot recommend it more highly.

It's historical accuracy was one of that flick's long suits. Add great cast, great performances, and a great storyline...and it is rightfully a classic.

Seems to me there are very few 'perfect' movies. If I had to list five more, they'd be:

The Searchers

The Grapes of Wrath

Saving Private Ryan

Dr. Strangelove

Kingsman: The Secret Service (

)

There are way more that come close, but come up short of perfection.

The Sixth Sense. Not saying it's my favorite movie or that I've watched it a bunch of times, just saying it's perfect. Every line, every shot, every sound effect.

That movie had everything, and is the finest date movie ever made.

The Blues Brothers is another perfect movie, at least in my mind
