That's just the downstairs - that's less than 1/3 of the show. |

Add Mondo's for not cheap Italian. Boss Hawgs and BurnCo for BBQ. Prairie, American Solera and Cabin Boys for beer. Roosevelts has a good food, especially the Chipotle fries, and a gaint beer menu. Neighborhood Jam for breakfast. Mother Road Market is one of those public square deals with a bunch of small restaurants and a full bar. Chicken and the Wolf there is pretty good. Savastano's for deep-dish pizza. Probably not going to be able to get off work again, but thought I would drop some suggestions. |

It has been years since I've been and now that I am recently (semi-)retired, I finally have time to go. My FIL lives in South Tulsa, so fortunately no hotel room for me. I'm driving this time so it is a 1700+ mile roadtrip each way. Why not fly? I am not masking up for any airline. Now the important question, where do y'all like to go to dinner? Two of my favorites in South Tulsa are Mahogany's and Charleston's. If near downtown, almost anything around Cherry Street is good. If by myself, I gravitate towards local cheap eateries like Coney I-lander hot dogs, Goldie's burgers and Hideaway pizza. I may even stop at Braum's on the way out of town.  See y'all in November. For coneys I would recommend one of the Greek owned coney islands as compared to coney i-lander,there is one at 21st and garrnett. |

I go every year and get a table with a group of guys. Been doing it with my father and his friends since high school. It's a great place to buy/sell/trade firearms. It's not quite the same show it was back in the early 2000s, but still 11x bigger and better than anything else (11 acres, indoor, heated/cooled). We always have a reservation at Mahogany's. Their appetizers are the absolute best. If you go, try the Lobster Cargo and Trout Dip. I'm also partial to their 16oz Bone-In Bison Filet (when available). |
