I am not a fan of overzealous cops but I am completely behind them on this.
Is my tinfoil too tight or does anyone else see this as a possible push for such a domestic conflict that the powers in charge can grab a bit more? |

Do you think you could separate the disturbances vs the actual instances of violence in your OP? I am trying to collect info on all of the violent attacks and this thread has been very useful for that.

Txl As a cop, we get general and specific threat info. Now, it all depends on the source of the info and of course the agency rules. Neither the FOP nor PBA send out info. Federal/State Fusion Centers usually are the distribution points. I know a lot of cops get info and delete it from their inbox. |

Excellent work, but you might add if I may: prefixed dates for each event. It will be useful for tracking them as I predict they will increase with frequency as the summer goes on.

I'm willing to bet as soon as one of these "peaceful" demonstrations pushes the wrong person too far and they defend their life then this country will boil over into a full on 1960's style race riot. Sadly, the vast majority of victims will be demonized as "having deserved it" while the criminals will be painted as "poor victims just doing what any oppressed person would do". Any progress made in race relations in the 80's and 90's has been wiped completely off the table. Fbho and his minions have set race relations back to pre-60's levels. |

Police said Derrick Quarles, the protest organizer, was among those arrested. Quarles was charged with creating a public nuisance and three counts of pedestrian in the roadway. Police said he was also arrested on an unrelated felony warrant for obtaining goods by false pretense. Miller said police used a Taser on one demonstrator, later identified as Dexter Scarborough, as he was "actively fighting and choking a Greenville police officer." Scarborough was charged with attempted murder, assault and battery on police while resisting arrest, pedestrian in the roadway and disorderly conduct. |
