Ya know what pisses me off?
OK, let’s go back to the end of WWII. We supported the Nationalist Chinese and defeated the Japanese. If we had continued to properly support the Nationalists then the Communists never would have come to power in China.
Yea, Chiang Kai-shek’s government was corrupt, I hear that all the time from libtards when I bring this up. But all governments are corrupt, it’s the nature of government. Or, rather it’s human nature when you are given government power to use said power to further your own agenda. Considering what followed in China, a few government officials lining their own nest with ill gotten gain was a minor problem. And if China hadn’t gone Communist then Korea and Vietnam wouldn’t have either and the entire Korean and Vietnamese war would have never happened.
But what about the people in Korea and China?
Economic growth slows and even reverses population growth. So China would be far more developed than they are today and maybe have some 700-800 million people. North Korea would be as developed as South Korea is today. The world as a whole would be far wealthier.
And think of all the inventions that might have come out of an economically developed North Korea and China… Who knows what miracles they could have discovered. Maybe a cure for cancer, maybe efficient fusion power. With that many more people in the first world we would be far more advanced than we are now.
The loss to the world of all that Communist bullshit is truly staggering.
