The central question that will have to be (at this point) dissected and isolated by historians is: Why was Donald Trump elected in the first place?
Both parties did not examine the underlying factors that led to today's political climate. The Left has tried to sell the Biden "victory" as a return to...sanity? Was Trump some kind of national temporary insanity? Because if he was crazy, and by extension his supporters crazy as well he sure did nail a lot of rational issues that this country has ignored, and allowed to fester.
You can tell me that:
1. Illegal immigration is good for the country. It is normal at least. At a minimum you should feel guilty because we are all a "nation of immigrants." You fucking peasant.
2. Economic stagnation, e.g. wage stagnation/decline in real buying power is a natural process that is not effected by industry regulation, or off-shoring of whole industries, or any complicated factor. It is complicated. You can't understand. You fucking ignorant peasant.
3. Globalization is the new norm. Normal, something you can't stop. Why would you want to stop it let alone question it? You fucking ignorant xenophobic peasant.
4. We are destroying the climate of the planet. We need to sacrifice our industry and stop our wasteful way of life. We must lead by example and dismantle our capacity to generate electricity, transport ourselves or warm our homes. We need to contemplate our sins alone...in the cold....and in the dark. We must never question why China and India should not be questioned about their practices, and of course they would honor climate reduction goals and policies. Of course! You fucking ignorant xenophobic science-denying peasant.
I could go on and on, but you fucking ignorant xenophobic science-denying peasants should know your place by now.
