So where is Marion Hammer did she take $300,000 of NRA money and disappear? Why is the NRA not investigating the $300,000 dollars given to someone under false pretense? What other hundreuds of thousands of dollars in kickbacks and friend of a friend contract deals has the current NRA leadership embezzled from members?
Eta: I realize "embezzle" is a strong word, but what other phrase encompasses money donated by membership for a singular purpose given to someone that appears to not be using the funds for the appropriated purpose? Misappropriation just doesn't seem to be accurate considering that the money given out was done so on purpose by the organization. "Failure to perform" doesn't seem to cover it considering that pushing further regulation is not only failure to perform, but the exact opposite from the purpose the money was donated for. Someone help broaden my lexicon if able, since I can't come up with a better word to describe what is happening to the membership dues of FL members. |
