As many people here know I own several military vehicles, and most have replica weapons on them.
Rule number 1 of travel with a military vehicle: you DO NOT travel with the weapons mounted and/or uncovered. It's stupid and people WILL panic. The only time I mount weapons (inert or not) to my vehicles is at a show while the vehicle is parked and nobody is in it. On a side note: He is driving a nice looking late model M38A1. Av. |

I don't have flash on this computer so I can't view the video but the guy might be a local. There's a guy here with a '50's era Willies jeep in OD green with Air Force markings on it with a wooden .30 mounted on a post in the back. The guy is in all the parades here and it's plain to anyone with 20:20 vision that it's not a "technical" from the local warlord but rather just another unique tribute to our history. I suppose the same person that called this in would call in the Star Trek Enterprise motorcycle that cruises around San Diego as a space alien invasion. I likely have pictures at home from the Veternan's Day or Independance Day parades of the jeep.
Only here at AR15.com would this be cause for hate though. |
