Today is the trial over NYS CCIA (new gun law that banned guns everywhere). The judge initially issued a TRO on parts of the law and the 2nd circuit stayed the TRO until they could review it. This, I’m told, is normal judicial procedure, but they stayed it until the trial making the TRO pointless. Thus far, the 2nd circuit has done nothing in regards to reviewing the TRO. To sum it up, Nolo is landing blows against anti-gunners in NY today. |

If the former that sounds like we're losing

Quoted: Never stop Nolo. The 2nd appears useless. Is it a pretty liberal circuit? It’s NYC based and the judges reside in NYC. They stayed the TRO pending their review and didn’t bother to review it. The trial took place today. The TRO is still stayed and I bet the judge’s (the one who heard the case today and who issued the TRO) decision will come out before the second circuit reviews the TRO that they stayed. |
