Guys, the retailers just released more XBOX S/Xs and PS5s.
Walmart and BestBuy are adding inventory every few minutes in an effort to prevent the issues of the last few releases. I got a Series X  https://www.bestbuy.com/site/microsoft-xbox-series-x-1tb-console-black/6428324.p?skuId=6428324 https://www.walmart.com/ip/XB1-Xbox-Series-X/443574645 ETA: I almost got a Series X at around 3:10pm but the site kept crashing when trying to place the order. It screwed up my CC and I had to call the bank to release the hold, they were OOS and it was removed from my cart by the time I could try again. At 3:23ish I was able to get my order placed and confirmed. ETA 2: My xbox is due by January 8th, after XMas, but better than even later. |

Walmart dropped at 340pm eastern.
By dumb luck I was on the site at 339. I hit refresh at 340,added to my cart and was OOS, I kept refreshing the page over and over and adding it to the cart, never let me even add it to my cart.

Snagged one from Walmart around 1510 today. Pro tip, use the mobile app and enter your card info under payment methods in your account before trying to score one. In the app, all you'll have to do is hit add to cart - review order - submit order and you'll have a much better chance to get it.

I got an XBox Series X today from Walmart. I had to use the app. The website kept crashing. I managed to get one in my cart but upon checking out I got a message that it was out of stock. I just kept clicking submit anyway, and after about 30 tries it went through surprisingly. Got my confirmation email a few moments later. Best Buy was a total fail.

I don't have the luck it takes to get one, nor the dedication to follow all the restock alert Twitter fags to try and be on a website the millisecond a restock goes live. So I'll be returning the game to Game Stop for a full refund. I figure by the time I'm actually able to get a PS5, the game will be even cheaper...or there will actually be a new CoD out.
