Well went through a very similar experience as a kid when a buddy of mine started experimenting with the gay lifestyle. It was a lot more taboo then than now. He was drawn to it by fashionable others who where older and making a good living.

One thing I can tell you is to not make him an outcast for that just pushes him further into the lifestyle. The further you push him away from it the further he will be pushed towards it.

I'd write it off as an experimental phase and let it drop. Either that or he's trying to lay your sister. For he will either come back or not. Eitherway if he's your friend and you like him, he's still the same guy, however that doesn't mean you have to know all about his love life no more than you do your heterosexual friends.

I know alot you guys believe all gay people are born gay and they are or they aren't but that's just pure liberal bullshit plain and simple for to many if not most it is a lifestyle choice. Like most lifestyle choices it is heavily influenced by peer pressure.

Try not to confuse transgender with gay for they aren't the same thing. This is widely accepted by almost every medical professional and not every gay wants to be a woman and have a sex change. Therefore the everyone is born to it idea is bull.

When it comes to sex women are almost always the limiting factor. With gay guys there's super charged sex drive x2. The stats on # of partners for strait men/women/lesbians vs. gay men shows this as true.

20 years ago sodomy was nasty and illegal in the mainstream.

If being homosexual wasnt against the laws of nature then one could reproduce through it.

Have a talk with him and explain what gay people do for pleasure. If he decides to be gay he will then have to decide wether he wants to spit or swallow, or what kind of lube to use. Tell him that having sex with another man is the act of putting your penis in his rectum and remind him thats where poop comes from.

Before I get bashed by the sensitive folk tell me where something I said has gone wrong. Everyone wants to say being gay is ok and acceptable but when it comes to talking about what happens when the door closes, which is one key factor that sets gay people apart, nobody wants to talk about it, they would rather call the person who brought it up insensitive or a homophobe.

That's always been my take on it.

Just think for 2 seconds. All of his new lifestyle will invite is chaos....from his friends, from his family, from society, from a health standpoint, everything....and I'm sure he proabably knows it. Do you really think he's "choosing" to go against being heterosexual as some little adventure?

HELL NO! I have a stable relationship with my girlfriend, who I love and I am a devout Christian and I believe homosexual acts are a sin. I also think every male is ugly.

Im thinking that his lack of any attention by the female gender could be a factor. No girl has ever even liked him. He tells us EVERYTHING...except this gay stuff (we always knock gays so thats prob why) and who he likes...Attention from the female gender could possibly bring him to his senses?

1& 3 are true; as long as no one gets hurt and everyone is a consenting adult, it is good to go.

Sorry, I gotta disagree there.

Back in college, I tried being "openminded" and "tolerant", and the homos gathered 'round trying to convert me. (So did the religious wackos, for that matter.) Fortunately, while I was trying to be nice to people, I also knew what I liked and believed in. Someone who is weak-minded and who doesn't have a strong sense of self, however, could be led into an "alternate lifestyle", and then would find it difficult to undo the conditioning. It's basically the same sort of conditioning or "grooming" that is done to small children by pedophiles to get them into the sack, after which the kids are too ashamed to get out.

Get the guy laid (with a chick, of course!). Some nice girl who thinks he's cute, if that's possible, but definitely not a grizzled old hooker. If he's still honestly "curious" afterwards, then maybe he really wants to go gay. From what 50 has posted so far, though, it sounds like the guy is just confused and looking for direction.
