You definitely don't want any negligent light discharges when they are hunting you. You can see a heartrate monitor on a watch from a long way away using nods. |

Sweet! Enjoy it, wear it often, take the dogs out to go to the bathroom, walk around as much as you can! Change batteries with the nods down in front of your face and remember TITs first when inserting said batteries! Get a butler creek scope cap, drill a hole in the front of it, so you can adjust your focus quickly. I run mine close to my eye with no issues. Enjoy looking at all the crap in the night sky! Have fun!!!!! |
I bought a Crye Nightcap, and upgraded the straps with an H Harness. I think this is vastly more practical than a bump helmet. If I'm going to wear a helmet, I think I want ballistic protection. With the Nightcap, I can keep my PVS in my truck pretty easily, for impromptu gooning. I'm putting together my yearly battery order, and I'm going to deeply stack Energizer Ultimate Lithium AAs.
