The best courtroom scene of all time!

Well there’s a fucking surprise.
And no, “you can’t handle the truth!” |

That's right. Don't be afraid. Just shout 'em right out when you know.

What an unbelievable scenario. In what world does the smoke show that was Marisa Tomei hook up with a dude like Joe Pesci? Other than that, great freaking flick.

Read somewhere that movie is actually referenced in trial courses for lawyers. Was fairly realistic in some ways, especially how he hooked in the jury. |

Imagine you're a deer.
You're prancing along, you get thirsty, you spot a little brook, you put your little deer lips down to the cool clear water... BAM! A fuckin bullet rips off part of your head! Your brains are laying on the ground in little bloody pieces! Now I ask ya. Would you give a fuck what kind of pants the son of a bitch who shot you was wearing? |
|
It's a hilarious movie and one I have to watch once a year or so.

Let me aks you a question, how do you get mud into the tires?

A nice Brooklyn girl. |

One thing I really appreciated about that movie is... Marisa Tomei. Okay two things I appreciated about that movie is Marisa Tomei and the fact that they didn't make Southerners the villains.
In the movie, the cops were perfectly honest, the judge was honest, the prosecutor was honest. The people were generally friendly and portrayed as decent folk. It would have been real easy to make the judge or the police into criminals wanting to frame those two "yutes." Instead, as soon as the evidence indicates that they are not guilty, everyone is happy to exonerate them. |

Oh you think I'm hostile now...

My little town in SC looks a lot like the one in the movie and believe me one doesn’t want to seal any tuna here either.

Ralph Macchio looks like Joe Pesci now.
I shouldn't laugh. Getting old is the shits. |

Are we to believe that boiling water soaks into a grit faster in your kitchen than any place on the face of the earth? Perhaps the laws of physics cease to exist on your stove! Were these magic grits? Did you buy them from the same guy who sold Jack his beanstalk beans?

I was quoting this movie earlier today.
"You was serious about that?!" |
