So this is a thing. Place has been purchased. Surveys of the site and surrounding area complete. A nearly 200 acre main campus with student housing, ranges, classrooms, and support facilities is in the works. Thousands of acres available for training. It is at over 6,000 feet elevation, so get in shape prior to arrival. The American Pioneer Corps will be hosting mountaineering, cold weather/winter operations, SAR, small arms, and engineering courses on site. Some photos below;       *Zero funds from APC fundraising were spent on the acquisition of this property or the construction or maintenance of the facilities in question. All of your donations to APC will continue to go straight to supporting training for you. |

I'm kicking around the idea of hosting courses separately from APC (ie, without the gatekeeping requirements some APC hosted free courses have) at a rate which still greatly undercuts the super majority of similar training, and then donating that money to APC...lots of folks have asked for this, because they don't want to generally participate in pursuing APC skillsets as a whole, but have niche interests. That or making the facility rentable for non-APC affiliated training when not in use by APC. |

When I win the lottery, I'll be happy to fly up on my own dime, build and teach a tactical and strategic wireless communications course, among some other things! (and, when my fat ass inevitably falls down one of your pretty mountains, I'll make a great dynamic training dummy for wilderness first aid and evacuation) |

Wrangles horses and pack mules then guides them. Nice area OP.  |
