Can someone name one situation where battery flicker from loading a rifle has gotten someone killed? Or better yet, when actually firing the rifle, when has light flicker gotten someone killed? Didn’t think so. This is an issue for people who only have 2 brain cells who are fighting for third place. |

If the light flickers in normal conditions, then in cold weather, maybe add a not fully charged battery into the mix, and that flicker could possibly turn into not working at all |
| Is that the new cloud cap or the surefire? I know they were saying the surefire doesn't work for theirs. If it's their own I guess a Monday morning unit sadly. Mine have been good. Even the little admin one which I actually missed checking pockets and went through washer and found it in the dryer when it started making a racket. Sorry you having issues |

I have an open ticket with both Modlite and Cloud. I will update how they decide to take care of this BS. Modlite Outstanding Issue: The now 3rd replacement head they sent (Incorrect Multi-Mode Head at that) that I received directly back from warranty, sold here and it had the same issues I experienced on the previous heads, with a new owner, new body's, tail caps and batteries. Cloud Outstanding Issues: Main body tail cap threads protrude too far into the tail-cap assembly - now allowing it to sit flush (gap - water resistance concerns). |

Modlite Response: "Sorry to hear you feel that is necessary. Our team has worked with you extensively to get this figured out on our end. Issues do pop up with our products sometimes, and we look to get them fixed expediently. When I saw you may be out of a light head for a bit due to stock, I upgraded that to a multimode equivalent. This will be my first time seeing that come through as a customer complaint actually. Unfortunately, we won't be able to provide a refund on a light head that has been sold off to another party. I apologize on any issue you may have experienced with our products." |

Bit of an update - made a deal with the buyer of the head with a partial refund, he is now dealing with ModLite. Glad to have my hands washed of them. Cloud - Issued a RMA, light is on the way back to them. Would prefer a refund - we will see if they will refund or just repair and send back. I shipped everything back with the RMA. AND....I have a M340DFT on the way. LFG Trump2024!!!!!!!!!! |

And then just make sure you really have the head and end cap cranked on there good and tight. If the light doesn't turn on it might be a smidge loose and it's harder to tell because of the stiff gaskets in there you have to overcome. |

Quoted: Any updates? I got my surefire m340dft and love it. Just going to keep the clicky tail cap until someone can put out a switch/tail cap worth a damn. The cloud, I did a partial exchange for a MCH Duty and they refunded the rest. Took advantage of the 20% sale they have going on. Still waiting on this. |
