Donated by parents who's frat boys do nothing but drink large quantities of cheap beer while in college.

Ok I don't care about the age orginal poster but here are are my thoughts.
When in college you have very limited dollars
It has alochol and is cheap you drink that.
Crap beer= whats the cheapest
You graduate, you get a job, you now have some money and want to appear "in" you buy micro beer to make your look cool. Beer tastes different then cheap beer = tastes like shit.
You bitch about Microbrew and bitch about it
You get older you experiance more of the world, different beer can be good.
Many of our fathers did not drink the "big" brews, they drank PBR, Schlitz,Cooks, and what ever was the local brew. they all had a different flavor that appealed to the market.
The big three came into the scene and pushed out the regionals and tried to push out the taste.
Now the market starts swinging back to the regional tastes, thus the growth in "mirco" brews
Now my to my point. You go to college you have no money you buy cheap beer you lose persective on good beer.
Now if college students would think, 2-3 cases of beer for $20 dollars brew yourself ,this tread would not even be a topic

It's too much of a pain in the butt to brew your own if the idea is to save money.
