I tried to put the hardcore partisanship aside for tonight and still overall I didn't find Obama that funny. He only made me laugh 2 or 3 times. McCain was hilarious.

They both performed well. If that was the real Obama, I don't think as bad of him as before. I'm still 100% against Obama, but I don't think that he is a three eyed monster any more.

McCain has a natural ability at humor as is seen on many of his tv show events. Obama isn't comfortable if he isn't scolding people.

FYI: McCain is on Letterman tonight too. Only reason I am watching it.

McCain was animated - the most expressive I've seen out of him yet. As others mentioned, he seriously needed more of this spirit in the debates vs projecting himself as a serious, tired old man. Passion sells.
